Delivery Policy


We endeavour to ship your order between 24 to 48 working  hours after receipt of your order. Should it be any delay, we will notify by email.

You can also send us a note with a future time for dispatch.

We currently offer FREE shipping on orders over £ 65.00 to mainland domestic UK* and only £ 6.90 flat rate for other orders to a maximum of 20kg only to domestic UK mainland residents.

Extra charges will also occur for orders over 20kg and the maximun weight per order is 30Kg.

Our flat rate only applies to Continental England and Wales and some post codes in Scotland.  

*Extra charges will incur to the Highlands and any of the Islands.

Deliveries to the following postcode areas incur carriage costs, so a minimum £7.95 delivery surcharge will apply to these destinations on top of the flat rate above.


AB31-AB38, AB40-AB56, IV, BT, KW1-KW14, PA21-PA40, PH9, PH15-PH40, PH49-PH50, FK19-FK21.


Delivery to the following areas and postcodes are quoted on an individual basis: Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland:

HS1-HS9, KW15-KW17, KA27-KA28, PA20, PA41-PA78, PA80-PA88, PH41-PH44, ZE;

Isle of Man; Isle of Wight, Jersey and Guernsey; Isles of Scilly (TR21-25); and Republic of Ireland.


Delivery is either by UKMail or Royal mail or any other methods.  All parcels have a tracking number. 

In the rare event your parcel has not arrived within a week of you placing an order. Please contact us immediately by email quoting your order/invoice number.  

Please notive that orders containing baked goods and/or refrigerated goods will not be ship on Fridays.

Delivery is only from Tuesday to Friday. 


Should you have an important event do not rely on the courier for delivery on the day we urge you to  Please place your order to arrive two days prior the event to avoid any delay by the courier.

Parcels with perishable goods are well packed and cooled with ice gels to withstand up to 48 hours in transit. If your order is due to arrive on a Friday afternoon and hasn't arrived by 4pm please call us immediately to look into it.

The parcel will be left with neighbours or safe location of your choice  if not answer at time of delivery.

Deliveries take place between 8 am and 6pm. Please note that on some occasions, deliveries may be outside these times due to unforeseen circumstances.

For any delivery extra charges, will request this by paypal payment request otherwise you can pay direct into our bank : German Bakery UK :88806669, sort code: 602412 and send us an email with details of payment. Please call us in the afternoon for this service.

The delivery date and time is an estimate only. We shall not be liable for any loss, cost, damages or any other charges caused directly or indirectly by any delays in the delivery of the goods. Goods are well pack to withstand transit tome to 48 hours when refrigerated goods are in. So far the delivery rate is 99.9 % except on Christmas time when the volume is at the highest and dleays are very  and most likely.  Please place your Christmas order with enough time and consideration. We really appreciate it. 

We kindly ask you to please do not refuse your parcel . Should you refuse to accept the parcel for whatever reason without our written permission you will be liable for the shipping costs and the full order value plus  £20.00 as charge by the courier company.  Please read our Terms and Conditions for further details. 

For delivery outside the UK, please send us an email with your order, country, post code and mobile number, we will then send you a shipping quotation.

We have deliver as far as India and Hawaii  and all the perishable are well packed in insulated boxes to keep the temperature with a transit time of 4-5 days.


Your duties as a customer:

To co-operate with us by giving us any information reasonably required for the delivery of the goods e.g : directions, difficult access, front door colour, barking dog,  difficult neighbours, safe location to leave the parcel or signed for only.  and anything you can think of to make the driver's life easier for all involved.

You have the right to complaint in the rare event that something is wrong,  and we will entertain your complaint and act adequately.  Complaints are only in writing with evidences attached. Verbal complaints will not be taken neither verbal abuses against the staff, if any we will refer it to the authorities. 

Please raise any issue as soon as the parcel is received and in a polite manner. Your parcel and contents are handle by humans and in rare ocassions there are human error. We do apologize for any inconvenience and we will rectify it ASAP. 

Please note that during the Christmas Season we do NOT guarantee 24 hours delivery and due to the high volumen of deliveries and weather conditions there it may be severe delays or even lost parcels. Please place your order well in advance so we can act as quick as possible to remedy the situation.  As the weather reaches freezing levels during this season and we use lots of ice gels so the refrigerated goods may not be affected by any delay.
