Dear customer, please read our terms and conditions before placing your order online.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. Transactions are carried out via PayPal’s secure system – you do not need to be a PayPal member to use the checkout – you can choose to “Pay by Card” to pay via PayPal’s card services without signing up, if you wish.
Your order is send by next day delivery either by UKMail or Royal mail . UK Mail will notify when the order is collected from us and will notify you again of the delivery time. Delivery is only from Tuesday to Friday. For any other day, please call us and extra charge will occur.
In the event of any delay by the courier, the parcel is packed and cooled to withstand up to 72 hours in transit. If your order is due to arrive on a Friday afternoon and hasn't arrived by 4pm please call us or the courier to notify them so delivery could be done on the Saturday.
A signature is required on delivery but if you think you may not be in to receive delivery, please specify any special instructions to the courier in the comments/message section of your order i.e. leave with a neighbour or a safe place or no signature required.
When the courier leave a “calling card” at the recipient address it then becomes the recipient’s responsibility to contact the courier company to re-arrange a suitable re-delivery time and date. You will receive either a text or email once your order is dispatched and another one with the time slot for your delivery.
In the rare event your parcel has not arrived within a week of you placing an order. Please contact us immediately by email quoting your order number.
Our flat rate only applies to Continental England and Wales and some post codes in Scotland. For any of the Isles and Highlands there is an additional charge. We will request this extra charges by paypal.
Please note that delivery is responsability of the courier company and not us. Should you have an important event do not rely on the courier for delivery on the day as delays could and may happen due to traffic conditions or other.
We are not responsible if your goods do not arrive because of the courier failure. Goods are well pack to withstand delays. You should also contact the courier company on the delivery day if you have not received any ETA.
You may cancel your order only if the goods have not been shipped. Should you refuse to accept the order for any reason after being shipped to you a £ 10.00 return fee will be charged together with the shipping costs including the cost for return and any cost for perishable items. Refund will be made after we receive the parcel minus the deductions.
We use recycled boxes but the products, specially the refrigerated, are well packed, cooled and sealed. Gel packs are to withstand up to 72 hours or more depending on the weather.
We will make every attempt to send the items as per requested. However, in the event that an item becomes unavailable, we will substitute it with a similar one of equal or greater value. Should you be not happy with this, please send us a note ” No substitute” with your order.
In the case more than a couple of your requested items are unavailable, we will send your order and later we will send you Part II of your order at no charge.

Please note that Pictures are for guidance only. The appearance of the packages may vary and specially the breads, as each bread is individually made daily by hand.
We currently offer FREE shipping on orders over £ 60.00 to mainland UK* and only £ 6.49 flat rate for other orders. We may add extra depending on extra weight.
Extra weight meaning parcels over 15 kg.
*Extra charges will incur to the Highlands and any of the Islands.
Deliveries to the following postcode areas incur carriage costs, so a minimum £7.95 delivery surcharge will apply to these destinations on top of the flat rate – see above, depending on the size of your order:
AB31-AB38, AB40-AB56, IV, BT, KW1-KW14, PA21-PA40, PH9, PH15-PH40, PH49-PH50, FK19-FK21.
Delivery to the following areas and postcodes are quoted on an individual basis:
Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland: HS1-HS9, KW15-KW17, KA27-KA28, PA20, PA41-PA78, PA80-PA88, PH41-PH44, ZE; Isle of Man; Isle of Wight, Jersey and Guernsey; Isles of Scilly (TR21-25); and Republic of Ireland.
SHIPPING IN THE UK
We are the number 1 German food importer based and registered in the UK with 5* Hygiene rating from Windsor with the fastest shipping.
We are a boutique-independent shop, not a supermarket neither we compete with their prices. Our priority is based on Quality v Quantity.
Please note that your order is completed only after the breads and other items are freshly baked, it is then when we send your order.
Please send us an email in advance if you are in a hurry for your goods to arrive on a certain date or or any other that you think we need to know.
Please note that shipping for remote areas and Islands the shipping transit is between 2-4 days depending on the post-code and will incur in extra shipping costs.
We are not responsible or liable for faulty addresses or faulty post codes of undelivered parcels neither liable for courier delays.
All our breads remain fresh up to a week and are 100% freezables.
*Free shipping is only to Continental England and Wales. The Highlands, islands and other remote areas will incur an extra charge.
We also ship all over the world with a maximum transit time of 3-4 days depending on location. Shipping costs depending on weight and last quote is provided after we received your International order. Currently we are shipping as far as India, USA, Australia, France and Norway.
